BART SF Airport(SFO)/ Oakland Airport (OAK)

Directions From San Francisco Airport (SFO):

- Take Hwy 101 north to Interstate 80 east (towards Bay Bridge).

- Exit on Fourth Street (Last SF exit before approaching Bay Bridge).

- Fourth Street exit turns (veers one-way-left) onto Bryant Street.

- Continue on Bryant and turn left onto Third Street

- Continue up Third Street and cross Market Street

- Third Street will change into Kearny after you've crossed Market St

- Continue up Kearny and turn left onto Sutter Street

- Proceed three blocks on Sutter and turn left onto Powell Street

- The hotel is located ½ block down on the right hand side.

Directions From Bay Bridge - East Bay:

- Take the Bay Bridge and stay in the right-hand lane as you near SF.

- Exit on Fremont Street (1st exit on right hand side over the main span).

- Proceed down Fremont Street to Howard Street.

- Left on Howard to Third Street. Turn right on Third Street.

* Third Street will change into Kearny Street after you've crossed Market St.

- Proceed 6 ½ blocks to Sutter. Turn left on Sutter and Left on Powell Street.

- The hotel is located ½ block down Powell on the right hand side.

Directions From San Jose - South Bay

- Take Hwy 101 north to Interstate 80 east (towards Bay Bridge).

- Exit on the Lombard Street off-ramp and proceed to Van Ness Avenue.

- Continue on Van Ness and make a left onto Bush Street.

- Continue down Bush until you reach Powell and make a right.

- The hotel is located 1 1/2 blocks down on the right hand side.

Arriving at the Chancellor Hotel by Car:
There is a white zone in front of the hotel for guest loading and unloading. Pull your car into the white zone leaving as little space between cars as possible. Be sure to CURB your wheels! From there, when you register, we will offer valet parking or the offsite garage. On those rare occasions when there is not room to park in the white zone when you arrive, do NOT double park or leave your car unattended at a red or yellow curb. You must circle the block and/or have another person in your party run inside the hotel to ask for assistance. The white zone is available on a first come first serve basis and is busiest during peak check in and check out times.

BART SF Airport(SFO)/ Oakland Airport (OAK):

BART is a fast, easy and inexpensive way to get to around San Francisco. BART operates between both SFO and OAK airports and the Powell Street Station.

FROM SFO : Trains arrive at the SFO International Terminal every 15 minutes and it's just 30 minutes to downtown San Francisco. To Downtown San Francisco Board the Pittsburg/Bay Point train. Exit Powell/4th Street- Use the Hallidie Plaza exit for the Chancellor Hotel. Walk 4 blocks up the hill( Powell Street) we are located on the left hand side after Borders bookstore.
